A cartoon I drew for homework demonstrating the harsh truths about nature. In this familiar scene from Winnie the Pooh, Christopher Robin and friends save Pooh after he gets stuck in Rabbits hole. In nature, however, this scene would play out very differently. Animals are usually hungry, desperate, and ruthless, and a vulnerable pile of fresh meat like Pooh would not last very long.
A cartoon I drew for homework. It demonstrates the Selfish Herd Hypothesis - a theory that attempts to explain why groups of prey like penguins usually travel in large groups. The idea is that there is a smaller chance of you getting eaten when you are surrounded by equally tasty friends. In the case of my cartoon, the penguin is hoping that his friend will satiate the hungry seal.
